I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. It’s pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the he-ro-in-e,though I didn’t think she’s beautiful. But she’s smart.
However, I didn’t pay much attention to the plot. I thought it’s so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I haven’t read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice. In fact, I didn’t understand the story at that time. I didn’t know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didn’t find where’ s the prejudice. I thought it’s normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it.
I’m a prejudiced person so I can’t find where’s wrong.
I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time.

However, its immediate success gave her great pleasure and she died in the knowledge that the book had indeed encouraged people to treat animals less cruelly.It is the autobiography of a horse, the black Beauty of the title, who narrates it. Through various owners who ask different tasks of Black Beauty, he grows and has numerous adventures. He goes from being a riding and carriage horse through being a mistreated town cab horse to eventual happiness in a secure home. Notably, the animal keeps strength and good temper throughout his suffering and the story was extremely influential as pro-animal propaganda but it is also an extremely exciting and moving children's story.

The catcher in the Rye is a typical novel which reflects the confusion and rebel of the 1950s in America history. From year 1945-1955, the American society seemed to be blissful on the surface while the fear of uncertainty caused by the growing communist challenge was affecting the culture of society. People became paranoiac and youngsters of the time became rebel or even violent resulting from the lost of aim and belief. Holton, the main character of this novel, is portrayed by the author as a typical teenager of the time.
Born in a wealthy middle class family, Holton was supposed to live a good life. However, he expelled from school four times, not dare to go home, wandering alone in York city one day and two nights, living in small inn, going to nightclubs, being alcoholism. He wanted to escape from the real world because he feel depressed, confused, filled with all sorts of unrealistic fantasies. This novel can be defined as both the tragedy of Holton's and the author Salinger, who is a young people of that generation.
In 1950, the Korean War started, which was an extension of the Cold War which strengthened the hostilities and conflicts between America and the Soviet Union. It definitely leaded to the panic of normal people because they were uncertain about the result of the competition between the superpowers. Teenagers were emotionally confused of the changing society, doubting their life and their future. Salinger has also written other novels such as Nine Stories, a collection of short stories even more depressed than The catcher in the Rye, which at least have expressed some hope at the end of the novel. Actually, characters like Holton become popular at that time, not in literature only. In the film Rebel Without a Cause describe a very similar situation, the tendency of rebel and violence among youngsters in American culture at that time. In the early 1950s, the accumulation of emotions and conflicts were bedding the transform a few years later, which had significant influence on American culture of that period.

最近我认真研读了《小学英语有效教学》这本书，受益匪浅。作为一名英语教师，怎样才能使自己的课堂更加有效？我困惑，我苦苦思索。这本书让我感受到教育专着中那份鲜活的理念，捕捉到最前沿的教育信息与动态，体会到名师的指点迷津。一堂小学英语课不再是简简单单的定义为热热闹闹的师生活动或满堂灌的教师一个人的口语独角戏。众多专家学者明确指出，中国的小学英语教学，是学生对一门外语的学习，而不是作为第二语言的简单习得。
因此，采用直接法和认知法相结合的教学策略，使其在小学英语课堂中发挥最为恰当的作用，让学生通过一堂课中的经典活动工程，沉淀出他们自身的英语知识和学习能力。
有效教学是“为了提高教师的工作效益、强化过程评价和目标管理的一种现代教学理念”。所谓“有效”，主要是指通过教师在一段时间的教学之后，学生所获得的详细的进步或开展。也就是说，学生有无进步或开展是教学有没有效益的唯一指标。我认为有效教学中的“效”字不仅局限在课堂中的表达，还应表达在教师的课前准备工作中、课后的反思中及长期的关注中。如果教师在讲课时不具备这些条件，那么即使教师教得十分辛苦，也不能称之为真正有效的教学。只有这几方面都做到了有效，才能算是真正的有效教学。
一、充分的课前准备工作课前准备工作通俗的讲就是指教师的备课：教具的准备，教师的教学设计，教学任务的布置，教学环境的设置，以及学生课前应做好的相应的准备工作。比方在教授水果的课堂上，就要利用各种水果来教学，因此，上课前就要求同学们准备好各种水果。再如为了突出英语学习的气氛，我们还可以在课后让学生布置英语角，办英语手抄报等，让学生活泼在英语的气息中。教学设计这一环节十分重要，它为一堂有效课做好了充分的准备。
1、首先，教师应当对学生原有的知识水平有一定的了解，以及心理个性年龄特点，并根据学生已有的这些特点确立适当的教学目标，包括知识目标，能力目标，情感态度价值观目标，确立目标要符合学生实际并且难易适度，不能过高或过低。
2、对教材的把握，对课堂活动的设计。现在我所带的两个班级都是60人，而且课时也很紧，这就要求我们小学英语教师更要抓住教材要点，并根据自己学生的特点从实际水平出发，灵活安排使用教材，从学生的兴趣和学习动机出发，灵活设计课堂环节，既不要太过复杂繁琐又要引起学生兴趣调动其参与的积极性，从而使他们的语言能力有所提高。
3、学生对课堂所需材料的准备。这局部包含两个方面，一是对相关知识链接的准备。比方我们要在新课上学习时间的问法，那么就应该对数字1—12的复习就非常必要，这一步可以在课前进展，也可在新课的开始时通过Warm—up来完成。另一部份是对新课所需学具的准备，如单词图片，词卡，学生卡片，小组活动的实物等，我们可以让学生在新课前准备完成，这样就可节省课上制作的时间，也可让学生对新知有个初步的了解，而且也培养了学生们的动手能力。
二、要进展有效教学，课堂教学中必须多信息、高密度、快节奏所谓多信息，指的是课堂教学要增加学生接触外语语言材料和信息量。在教学过程中，让学生多听些生动、有趣、幽默的对话和短文，让学生在愉悦中潜移默化地获得信息，积累素材，丰富知识，激发兴趣。随着教材的加深，逐步提高听和阅读外语语言材料的质和量。通过长时间的积累，学生的视野拓宽，信息量加大，听、说、读、写的能力大大提高。高密度是指学生外语实践的量大面宽。教师讲解多，必然减少学生练习、实践的时机。要改变这种场面，就要鼓励学生积极学习，提高外语实践的密度。教师要充分调动学生学习的积极性，使学生主动积极参与各项外语活动。高密度要求在同一水平的根底上的教学内容并列和反复地进展语言根底知识和能力的训练，并在理解的根底上从听、说、读、写各种不同角度展开，以增加外语实践的量和外语实践的人数。
快节奏指的是学生学习和操练的节奏要交替紧凑。当然“快”不是指一味的进度快，而是教学节奏明快，练习转换、环节交替紧凑，语速正常，学生操练外语的内容和学生轮换操练的频率要快速、协调。为了节省组织教学的时间，师生之间要达成一种默契，可借助于一些手势语、体态语和暗示来表达教师的要求。
1、课堂教学活动目标要明确
在小学英语课堂教学中我们应该采用贴近学生生活的`，易于学生参与体验的任务型教学活动。例如，在教学“Howoldareyou？”的教学内容时，可以设计让学生做一个调查，调查自己身边同学的年龄。这个教学活动教学目标十清楚确，学生们的语言运用的能力都得到了一定程度的开展，这样的教学活动是有效的教学活动。
2、情境创设要真实便于操作，合理分配时间创设符合教学内容的贴近学生生活的真实的教学情境是小学英语课堂实施有效教学的重要途径。小学英语教学中主要有借助实物和图像创设的教学情境，借助动作（活动）创设的教学情境，表演，借助语言创设的教学情境，例如，在学习动物的词汇时，我利用dog，pig，cow，bear，bird，cat图片进展猜谜游戏，让学生猜动物园中得动物；再如在学习“Attheshop”话题时，我设计了带学生参观商店的情景，让学生描述他们所熟悉的文具如ruler，pen，pencil，rubber的特征，并能说Ilikepen。这些情境的创设都有利于学生在有限的时间内到达预期的学习目标，教学活动目标明确。
3、运用手势唤醒学生积极的情感态度。
语言学习与学生积极的情感态度和对语言的充分理解密不可分。强烈的学习动机、充足的学习自信能加快学生对输入语言的吸收和内化，提高课堂效率。有时，一个眼神，一个表情，更多的时候只是一个手势，就能一起学生的注意，是学生结合详细的教学情景及生活经历来理解内化老师的语言知识，形成语言理解能力，而且手势也能帮助学生理解所学的知识。
4、英语教学中多媒体技术的应用。
与多媒体技术相结合的英语课可以吸引学生注意力和提高学生英语学习元素，如色彩、动画及音响等。教师恰当地运用多媒体技术，能够创设合理的课堂教学环境，解决教学重难点，以提高英语课堂教学的效率。在英语课堂中引入多媒体技术既要发挥其容量大、节奏快和感染力强的优势，又要摆正其在英语教学中的位置，它知识一个辅助的成效，要做到适时、适量很重要。
三、课后的及时多样的稳固练习作业虽然小学生对英语学习较为感兴趣，但由于课业及家庭等多方面原因，学生课外用于英语学习的时间很难得到保障，而英语作为一门语言来学习，稳固的过程必不可少，这就要求我们教师要给他们设计丰富多样有能够起到有效作用调动其积极性的课后作业形式。
1、根底型作业。给学生布置与所学知识相对应的听读写作业。如：听课文磁带，熟读课文，练习单词书写等传统作业，对学生打好扎实的根底很重要，是作业中不可缺少的一局部，但要适量。
2、说一说，演一演。根据所学的单词和句型，让学生结组进展对话的创编活动，在课堂中进展展示，小组中进展交流，学生可以根据自己的能力选择角色，确定内容，既考虑了学生的差异，有可有效调动学生的积极性。

有效教学要求我们英语教师要具有精深的专业知识，较强的语言表达能力和交际能力；同时，教师须具有较强的教育教学能力，能够自如地驾驭教材和课堂教学过程，了解新教材特点，恰当地制定教学方案，合理地安排教学内容，有效地组织课堂教学活动。所以，我们必须不断地学习以更新自己的专业知识，并深入研究教材，研究学生，绝不能闭关自守、满足于现有的成绩而寸步不前，要多学习新的教育教学方法和理念，并付诸实施。
